My Story

I grew up living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and quickly fell in love with it. There’s something about it that brings me peace and a sense of familiarity that’s rare to find elsewhere. Photography hasn’t always been a passion, or obsession, of mine. However, I always felt the interest was there and I simply never pursued it. It wasn’t until a family vacation that persuaded me to pick up a camera and it’s hard to find me without one now. I have my wonderful and beautiful girfriend to thank for buying me my first camera and supporting me through this whole endeavor - which can be a rollercoaster at times. My family has been a tremendous help and support system as well in pushing me to follow my dreams. No doubt, this endeavor is as much theirs as it is mine. I know if I didn’t have the people around me that I currently do, I wouldn’t be where I’m at, or the person I am today. Photography is a way for me to slow down and let the world pass me by. To sit in the silence of a sunrise and witness God’s beauty in a moment where time doesn’t exist.
